Dhirdham temple is a Famous Hindu Temple. This temple is dedicated to lord shiva. The structure of this in the beautiful Nepali-style. It is located in the Darjeeling market center, West Bengal. In 1939, King of nepal Purna Bahadur Pradhan was built this temple. Gorkhali architech Beg Raj Sakya was designed this temple. He desired to design a model of the Pashupathinath temple complex of Katmandu of Nepal. While we enter in to the temple site, we will glimpse a White coloured sculpture of Lord Shiva facing the temple.This structure shows the five different expressions of Shiva with his universal third eye. This deity is known as "Pancha Bakram Tri Netram". While Visiting Dhirdham Temple, they break the journey at the Peace Pagoda, Barbotey Rock Garden, and Sandakphu. This place is really nice and attractive and it is surrounded by a trees and Shrubbery. While entered into the temple compound, we feels of holiness and serenity. The priests are warm and welcoming to one and all and get a signature 'bindi' is very important that represents the blessings.
